My well-behaved boy

I am so proud of my son today. That doesn't mean that I am not always proud of him, of course I am! But I'd to admit that there are times that I get upset of him because he doesn't behave, especially during the church service. But earlier, he was the most behave kid in the service. He would usually behave like that if his Daddy is around cos he knows that Daddy meant business while he can sometimes get away with me. Earlier, even if Daddy is not around, he was behaving like when he's with Daddy. He just sat down most of the time beside me, shared his toys and foods. The secret? Stressing out to him that if he behaves and be a good boy, he would get a reward. And his favorite reward? Simple, just the gross-looking gummy worms. But since he was such a good boy, much more than what I expected him to be, he deserved more than just a gummy worm.

Certified Camper

Like what I posted the last time that we are going to camping and it would be Abi's first time. Well, we only slept over at the campsite for a night but got back there the next day. But Abi had so much fun and so am I. It's so good to know and see that my son loves the outdoors as much as I and my husband loves it. It's also surprising to see another thing that my son loves to do, digging the sand. So it was a right thing for me to brought his pail and shivel with us. In fact, he just digs most of the time. He got so dirty and messy but I was prepared for that too cos I got lots of changes of clothes for him.

Anyway, here is a very short video of my son during our short camping.

Abi's first time to camp

I'm just making a quick post before we leave for our camping trip, which would be Abi's first to camp. He doesn't have any idea about what camping is but I am glad that we'll have him exposed to it. Me and my husband loves outdoors, so as my father and my in-laws. So it is good for our son to be enjoy our passion too.

Anyway, I already have him packed and he did good by waking up early. Usually, he wakes up at around 10:00-11:00 AM. He is maybe excited. I can't tell for sure though. Right now, as I am making this post, he is on the couch, well-behaved, waiting for me to be done and get him dress.

By the way, if you're looking for diet pills, you can find it at pricesexposed.net.

Have a great weekend! :-)

What my career would be?

Just last March 24th, we submitted our application for the Adjustment of Status from a K1 (fiancee -- me) and K2 (child of fiancee -- my son, Abi) visa holders, together with Employment Authorization for me to be able to work before I receive my greencard, and Travel Documents for traveling outside the US prior to receiving the greencatd. Then, just yesterday, we finally received the Notice of Action (I-797C) from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services regarding the application, letting us know that they received the case and it would be processed. I got so excited! It may not be the most earthquaking news to hear but at least, we know that our application has been looked up and is moving onwards (hopefully until it is approved).

Now, while waiting for the application being done and the necessary stuff I need to have for me to be able to get a job here in the US, I am wondering what would be my first job here. Would it be something that I wanted and be my lifetime career, or something that I'll just get just for me to be able to get a job. I mean, for my first, I will never be picky. I guess I'll take whatever comes first cos I really wanted to get a job, for two main reasons: to start saving money for mine and my husband's lifelong dream and to be able to help my parents in the Philippines. We know that our life would be so much better if it's not just my husband earning alone. But I'd still always hope that I'd like my first job cos if I'd be given a choice, I wanted to have a job that I'm gonna job until my retirement cos transferring job from another is really hard and I don't want another big adjustments in life, I already had a lot.

Well, I graduated with an Education course, so I'm also thinking of getting Masters in Curriculum and Instruction or MS Instruction at ST. Xavier's online. It would help us to prepare for continued development as a master teacher by letting curricular issues and their impact on instructional practice. They have the most experienced and competent practitioners that will help you achieve your goal as a master teacher. And taking it online would be a very good choice most especially when you are a busy mom like me.

Got a new haircut

Last night, Abi and Andy (my husband) both got new haircut. They even have the same hairstyle, almost skinhead. It was Andy who cut his hair and I did Andy's hair. We just bought the haircut kit for 11 bucks. We surely did saved a lot compared when we go to the barber shop to have their hair done.

I always wanted to give Abi this kind of haircut since he was a baby but my parents wouldn't let me. But now that we're here in Texas and it's almost summer again which means that it would be freakin' hot again (I'm talking about over a 100s temperature here). So it is really nice to have a super short hair.

This is the first time that Abi had this kind of haircut and he said that he likes it. Of course, he is just a toddler, so he doesn't know any difference. I also told my parents earlier over the phone about it and guess what they said, "ohhh...poor baby..". I still don't understand what not to like about this haircut and what made Abi a pitiful kid for having this kind of hairstyle. It is clean-looking and he looks more of a boy now.
