My Little Helper

As usual, I am talking about my son here. Yep, he is my little helper. It is good that he is always willing to help me or anyone without being ask, but it's not as easy what it sounds. Before I'll answer your WHY question, let me list the things that he loves to help me with.
-Throwing the trash
-Washing dishes
-Folding clothes
-Loading and unloading the dishwasher
-Cooking
-Making juice/tea

Those are the usual things that if he won't be there when you do it, expect a major tantrum.

Now, to answer your question why. Because he is too young and even if he says that he wanted to help but he doesn't get the whole idea of helping yet, instead, he things it's fun and so most of the time, he's just playing. So, the work will take about 3 times more than what it is supposed to be.

I know it is so good that he's learning to help without even being taught to and I hope that he would stay that way even he's old enough to understand what he's really doing.

Sleep Tight, Mommy and Daddy

Being parents are not easy, whether it's your first time or the 20th(?) time, but it's still worth it. Every full day is all about learning, for me and my son, and it is really tiring, emotionally, mentally, and physically but it's not the kind of tiredness that you won't to give up but it's something that you still want to do again and again. And due to the activities we do everyday, we need to have a goodnight sleep so that we can face another tiresome day again. That's why I wanted to get the sleep number bed that would help me and my husband get a goodnight sleep.

I love being a parent to my son but I need to admit that most of the times, I can't help pulling my hair. It is a very big responsibility that won't give you any option. But if I'd be ask to do it, without a doubt, I'll do it in a heartbeat.

A Problem Or Not?

My husband is so tired of hearing me over and over again on how I mumble about my weight. But I can't help it. Everytime I look at the mirror and see my bulging tummy, I'd unconsciously say, "Oh..look at my tummy..I'm so FAT now..", and he'd say with a pissed off-voice, "You're not fat!!".

I started gaining weight after I gave birth to my son. When I was pregnant with him, I ate a lot, which is what I needed but I never gained weight that time. I have the bulging tummy but that is because I'm pregnant (duh!). Then after I gave birth, it seemed that everything I ate on my pregnancy took effect. Since then, I never lose any weight.

I know there are lots of weight loss pills available out there to solve my problem but my question is, would it be safe for me?

My independent 2-year-old

My 2-year-old is so independent in doing some tasks such as putting on his on clothes. I know it's a good thing but it's somewhat sad cos I don't want him to grow up yet. I felt that he's still too young to do some things on his own. I'm just scared thinking about him growing up, start going to school, have his girlfriend, separate from us, and have his own family. I know that's way too much for me to think about right now but I can't help myself. I'm not saying that I'm not happy seeing him learn some new things. Of course I am! I just love him too much, that right now, I'm too afraid of the thought of him leaving me. But, that's just the pessimist in me.

Anyway, here's a video of him putting his clothes on the other day. He just had the willingness to do the last few days and since then he had been very enthusiastic about it.

Of course, I am trying to help him once in a while but he pretty much did most of it. I am just so proud of my son and it will remain that way forever.

On formal attire

I just want to share an idea to all Moms who has a small kid like mine. My son, as a 2-year-old, is not easy to find formal clothes such as tuxedos because of their size, they are small. We experienced that hardship during my wedding last year in July. We actually didn't find tuxedo for him so we just settled with a coat. It still looked for formal but I'd still prefer the tuxedo if we found one.

A few days after the wedding, I went online to search for it and I saw formaltux.com that makes tuxedos for any sizes and gender. They have a wide selection of tuxedos and formal attire to choose from too. So, if you want to order tuxedos for small men just like my 2-year old, give them a call with the number shown on their website.

Abi's love for cars

My son loves car so much but which boys who doesn't anyway. I think it's their most favorite toy from being a baby until they grow old. At least I'm sure that my son is straight just by the what toys he'd prefer to play with.

Anyway, the other day, we went window shopping at an auto shop. Though we are looking at the real auto parts and not just toy but my son seems to enjoying the view, looking at those tires (big big wheels as what he'll say), steering wheels, etc. Then we saw the Ferrari parts that even me had fallen in love with. I always admire Ferrari and looking at its parts, not put together yet, still looks good to me.

I can only imagine my son when he'd be in the right age and he'll have his own car. Actually, right now, he wanted to drive his Daddy's car so I promised him that 14 years from now, he'll be driving his own car.
