Got Our Advance Parole

Last March, we finally applied for our Adjustment of Status, from K nonimmigrant visa holders to a conditional residence here in the US. Then, just last week, we received our employment authorization and advance parole (for traveling outside the country), but still waiting for our greencard or the conditional residency card.

The employment authorization is so important for me cos it will let me get a job here, while for Abi, he can get an SSN (Social Security Number) with it. While the advance parole, it will let us travel outside the country. Well, really don't have plans on traveling outside the country real soon but we just applied for it in case of some emergency where we need to go back to our home country, Philippines. But eventhough we don't plans to travel yet, I'm looking for travel insurance online cos it's good to have insurance about anything.

Well, I'm so glad that we finally got those things we needed except for the Greencard. But we know that we'll also get it soon.
